A Town Meeting Is In Order

<This event occurs after we are done RPing in the woods>

The returned travellers from the mists and the litter they are carrying enter the tavern. Anyone who is in the Tavern will likely see them arrive.

[Malva]

Malva, in the bunkhouse brewing a potion, sees the group out the window, fumbling, she throws in the last ingredient, sloppily pours the potion into bottles, and bolts out the door to meet them in the Inn.
"You're back!" she says panting, slowing down, taking in the scene. She gazes over everyone's ears, "Well that's more than I expected..." she mumbles. She looks at Herr, "What happened to him?"

[Zar/Herr]

"I don't know, but my ears and forehead burn significantly. Apparently i'm blue; don't know what that's about."
Herr says, not really concerned about it.
"How have you been?"

[Keket]

-everyone could hear a yell from Keket for all of hold fast to please come in to the inn for a town meeting at once our our friends have return!-

[Phineas J. Pennefeather]

As the group of missing locals make it into the the Watering Hole Tavern, Phineas the Halfling Tavern-keeper makes sure the regulars receive a bowl of the steaming fresh rabbit stew, a piece of still-warm bread and a beverage, an ale or whatever refreshment that he knows they want.

(Life skill: Tavernkeeper I, II & III, Brewer I, II & III, and Cook I, II & III, to name a few, btw).

In between, he keeps himself busy roasting, stewing and smoking over the fire a fairly large quantity of meat. (for those with the appropriate Life Skills; Hunter I, Cook I, Foodie I etc., you can tell that it is bear meat. The rest of you can tell that it is and will be delicious.)

[Malva]

Malva gives Herr a puzzled look. "I'll have to show you a mirror later. I've been fine, a bit worried about you guys though, but you seem more or less fine..." She looks around the room again. "Wait, what happened to Pierre?"

[Phineas J. Pennefeather]

During the carrying out of his duties, Phineas stops to take a nice, long look at Herr
Finsternis, pauses, blinks, shakes his head and returns to his work.

(Life skill: Tavernkeeper I, II & III and a little Halfling diplomacy).

[Malva]

Before Herr can even reply, Malva's gaze snaps back to him. "Wait; ears and forehead, and you're already blue..." Malva begins prodding at Herr's forehead. "Are you turning into an Air Kin?"

[Keket]

-keket would return to the inn just in time to hear malva say air kin as shed would look over to her0

"what air kin? whats did i miss iv told the town people if they heard me its unsure but air kin?"

[Malva]

"I've only met a couple of Air Kin. They have blueish skin and pointed ears and usually more horns than me and they're good at air magic"

[Keket]

-shed blinked looking over herr some now then to Malva-

"interesting well i know well all find out more soon to whats happen and whats going on here soon for sure"

[Zar/Herr]

Throughout The convo between Malva and Keket, Herr remains silent but interested; He smiles.
"Air kin? Sounds fun. Mind enlightening me a little, Malva?"
He takes one small step towards her.

[Grayfeared the Whitehawk]

- Grayfeared wakes up in a puddle of booze on a table in the inn-
Heeey isa people! welcome people!
-Grayfeared goes to pluck a string but passes out again-

[Malva]

Malva looks at Herr puzzled, occasionally glancing at Grayfeared out of the corner of her eye: "Did... I.. not just do that?"

[Keket]

"yea she did herr.. are you sure youre fine?"

[Timmean]

"Ah, um... can we put this down first? Pierre deserves the respect." Timmean nods down at the litter the group is still carrying.

[Gurok]

As the townsfolk start to fill up the room, Gurok suddenly realizes that she hasn't seen Teek since she left the mists. She reflexively grasps at her necklace in an anxious manner, smiles a tiny bit a when she remembers why it's not there, and frantically looks around the room for her. "Teek?", She shouts over the chatter- "Has anyone seen Teek? She should have come back with us..."

[Malva]

[OOG: Can someone clarify what we're seeing if we look at Pierre? I'm not sure what you mean by litter; like trash?]

[Timmean]

(OOG: Litter, as in like a fancy stretcher. Pierre's body is laid out, much as you would see a body in a casket)

[Malva]

Malva looks at Timmean and Pierre: "Is he... dead?"

[Keket]

"why dont we wait for lady val to speak once everyone gets here?....
"

[AD]

Teek is quietly standing by the door to the inn, not sure where to go now or what to do when she hears Gurok call for her. Her eyes brighten and a small smile forms as she walks to Gurok. "I'm right here Gurok." She stands close to Gurok, "I wasn't sure where to go or what to do and I'm used to having to travel unseen. I'm sorry if I spooked you." Teek looks briefly to Malva and smiles brightly, "Faerie was merciful! He can come back!" She then turns her attention back to Gurok.

[Gurok]

Gurok sighs with releif at the sight of Teek. Yes Malva, all will be explained in a minute. Buy don't worry, as Teek said, he can come back, if he wants to, but I'm not expert on how that works." She turns back to Teek- * I think we should all have a chance to say our part about what happened in the mists, and then answer questions after everyone has had their turn. Just to keep things organized, you know. I'm going to go gather up the others to tell them my plan, so that we can start. I don't want anyone to be left out of of the loop. You can come with me if you'd like." She smiles but looks a little distracted as she goes off to find Timmean, Bikbun, Herr, and Lady Val, and Lessa too, if she can find her. She tells anyone she sees on her way to go to the inn. that a town meeting has been called, and that food is ready.
