Pinned to the notice board with a fork is a crumpled piece of paper, ripped from a small notebook. It reads in a hastily-written font:

Val: I know you have the notebook. Please transcribe the law onto a decent sized sheet of paper (or stone I don't care either way) and put it up somewhere obvious.
