The Beginnings of a Special Crop

A few days after his return to Holdfast, Timmean can again be seen behind the inn, working at his farm, preparing the crops for harvest. By this time, most of the vegetables are almost ready, and he spends most of his time removing debris, pulling weeds, or adding fertilizers. However, he also spends a lot of time at the end of the field, where he seems to be doing some other work, away from the main group of crops.

Over the following weeks, Timmean continues his work on the field. As the summer presses on, he begins to harvest a few of the crops, making new plantings when possible. Even so, much of his time is still spent in that small segregated section at the far end of the field.
