(Written in an educated longhand) Dearest residents of Holdfast,
Greetings! For too long now we have lived next to one another and nary heard of the other. Though we have heard of you often in trade dealinga, it was a mutual friend of ours, Mr. Maximilian, who shared with us more of your exploits and has given us pause to think of how we all need to stick together in familial kindness out in these dangerous lands. As such we would like to extend a not-so-formal invitation to any of you who would care to join us in our own humble settlement for a day of fellowship and festivity. This will take place on the day of Hallow Mass as observed in Nordinian rites, but anyone of any creed is welcome. We hope to get to finally know our neighbours better and promise a lovely respite during these harsh days. Please feel free to bring any favours you desire that we all may share our tastes and stories! Worry not of our location: we will send the necessary information closer to the date. Stay vigilant and strong, friends, we look forward to seeing you!

*Francis takes a pen out of his pouch and draws a few flowers in the corner of the note.*

"There, much better!"

*He walks away merrily*
