Addressing Morpha, Ardin replies,

"Just welcoming our new friend here."

As he hears talk of the circle, Ardin takes a sudden interest in the conversation and sits down to join the pair, an eagerness behind his words

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything, but what's this talk of recreating the circles? I presume you've been brought up to speed on the happenings of this place last moon then, how we lost our circles. I appologize for my excitement, but as I am earth apprentice, acting in the absence of our earth champion, I've been spending the weeks meditating and mending the wound of our lost earth circle to prepare for it's revival. If you have any information that could help this process, it would be greatly appreciated."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"I'm afraid the magical leylines on this island are completely foreign to me. You'd have better luck speaking to a ritualist native to the isle of the dead. And it is my honor to meet you earthen apprentice. As a Dryad and close friend to the earth champion of Carreg Wynn I hope we can become fast friends." Saheeli takes the skin off her belt and takes a deep swig.

[Ardin Gallagher]

Ardin raises a glass.

"To a new friendship. So what brings you to Holdfast? Are you just travelling through, or do you plan on staying any length of time?"

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"Just a brief visit. I plan to return somewhat often to study the anomalous nature of the intersecting planes here."

[Morpha]

"Do Arluru have their own language? Of the fae I have learned about, I know the least about your kind, Saheeli."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"Yes. Is their anything else you'd like to know of my kind?"

[Morpha]

*Morpha's eyes light up*

"Well, for starters, are Arluru obligate carnivores? Do you do husbandry? What sort of bonding ritual, if any, do you have? Do different packs of Arluru interact much? What about your death rites? Why do you hate Faerie? Why do you hate void magic? What's the Black Oblivion? Why were the Arluru even there in the first place? What's you favourite colour?"

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"We are omnivorous, but have a carnivorous bias. We typically hunt game, so no husbandry. The alphas are the only breeding pair in a pack, so the bonding ritual is becoming the pack alphas. Typically borders are mutually agreed upon, inter pack trade and politics are fairly simple, occasionally young of one pack will be raised as a ward to another pack. Typically when an Arluru is close to death, they ask the alpha to put them down, or they go off into the wilderness for their final journey. Faerie created us and then betrayed us. Void magic goes against the natural order as it is a conduit of destruction. The black Oblivion is the plane that Faerie locked us in to be hunted by the Xin-T'Ai. We were locked there because Faerie is an evil traitor. My favorite color is grey."

[Morpha]

*Morpha listens intently to Saheeli, their eyes growing ever wider*
*as she finishes, Morpha opens their mouth to say something, then pauses, then opens their mouth again*
"Uh, thanks.. I didn't think you'd be so open.. so.. what's a Xin-T'Ai?"

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"Xin-T'ai are 12 foot tall insectoids with silvered claws. They have been preying upon my kind for centuries if not millennia. Sadly we don't have the luxury of our history."

[Morpha]

"I'm so sorry your people had to go through that..."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"Thank you for the sympathy. But my people are still going through it."

[Morpha]

"Oh... what!?"

*Morpha looks a little dizzy*

"Do the... do the other fae know about this? What about the elves? Is this common knowledge? This is so wrong.. it doesn't make any sense.."

*They sit down abruptly*

"This changes everything.. this is incredible.. I need to tell other kin about this.."

*They look at Saheeli again*

"This is a lot to think about.."

[Ardin Gallagher]

Ardin stays solomn as Saheeli talks about the Black Oblivion, and seems hesitant on asking something, before finally saying,

"Were you yourself a prisioner to the oblivion, Saheeli, or is your time of this world?"

[Chell (Saheeli)]

Saheeli addresses Morphas first.
"The other fae know but few care. They consider their 'all mother' beyond reproach. Most refuse to acknowledge Faeries mistreatment if my kin."
Saheeli turns her attention to sir Gallagher
"I was born here in the Material plane. We have a few refugees of the black Oblivion in Carreg Wynn
I hope to save as many as we can from their imprisonment."

[Morpha]

"How can they be saved?"

[Chell (Saheeli)]

Saheeli frowns. "I'm not sure. But that's part of the reason I came here. Any information of interplanar anaomalies could be helpful."

[Ardin Gallagher]

"I haven't asked them about returning to the oblivion, but we have a varluru pack residing just outside Holdfast, atta Bajorvan. I could take you to meet them sometime if you wish, perhaps they could help on your search for information."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

"Perhaps when next I return to Holdfast."

[Morpha]

"Ardin, you have to take me to meet this varluru pack. We've got to do something about this."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

Saheeli smiles warmly. "Your sympathy and compassion is heartwarming." Saheeli offers a hand to Morpha. "I need to be going soon, but perhaps I can impart you with a present?"

[Morpha]

*Morpha stands up again*
"Uh.. Sure."

[Chell (Saheeli)]

Saheeli takes Morphas Hand. (Impart state: astral form, Dematerialize, sudden clarity.) Saheeli makes a small bow. "It's been a pleasure, I must be going."

[Morpha]

*Morpha looks at their hand, with faint delight*

*then they look back at Saheeli*

"I hope we meet again soon. Safe waters."
