Morning tea at the Hanged Man

[Jaya]

Jaya finished a bite of her scone and sipped some tea out of her "mug", which was a repurposed thimble. The winter months are the hardest for her because of her not so new small stature. She's been staying with different townsfolk since she has to rely solely on others to get around the snowy trails. Today like most she's at the Hanged Man with Sylvie enjoying some tea with her and Malva.

"So you both had the dream as well?" She says with a slightly excited tone.

[Sylvie]

Sylvie sets a hot kettle down on the table, and sits to join her guests

"Oui. I'm glad to hear I wasn't the only one, admittedly that dream gave me the heebie jeebies."

She pulls a leather journal from her cloak.

"As soon as I woke I wrote down what I could remember. Does anyone have any ideas what all of this could mean?"

[Malva]

"Yes, the dream with the stones and the fallen majesty and the brethren and the conflict. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and I'm still not sure. Do you remember much about what we heard about Saul and Marwell's conflict and what that had to do with ruins?"

[Jaya]

"My mind is a bit foggy, I don't know why but from what I can recall something along the lines of they were potentially lovers and she was the one who destroyed his kingdom leaving his castle in ruins this why he disliked her so much. He also did accuse her of being Ascended

There is also the theory that the poem about the lovers is about them."

[Sylvie]

"To be honest I don't know much about Marwell, other than what you all have told me. Her history is a bit of a mystery to me"

[Jaya]

"No one really knows much about her to be honest. It seems like people only know of her actions when it comes to town but nothing really about her. That's another reason why I wanted to become her student to learn more about her. I figured if one was more pleasant to work with than Timmean she may actually talk to you and not break your leg.

I wish I would have written it down. I was more upset at Saul for spewing potential bullshit so I never really paid to much attention to his story which I only really got the tail end of. I should have written it down."

[Malva]

"And so we're under the impression that those ruins are the ruins we have here, perhaps? A lost majesty..."

[Malva]

The three head to the ruins and search. Excitement can be seen before a short discussion, when they head back to The Hanged Man.

The girls can be seen searching the area

[Malva]

Excitement and fiddling with small objects can be seen

[Malva]

The three next head to the inn and can be seen searching inside and out

[Malva]

The three come up empty and pause for discussion before deciding to head towards the citadel.

[Malva]

The three are searching around the citadel and a tent or two

[Malva]

No luck. Discussion. They head to the Faerie Ring.

[Malva]

Some searching and blending with the ring happens

[Malva]

As tiny Jaya attempts to climb the ring to blend, she seems to call attention to something around the mushrooms. Excitement and discussion is heard amongst the three.

[Malva]

The three head further into the woods and begin to search Fairchild Grove.

[Malva]

The three are very fixated on one log and some moss around it..

[Pierre]

Pierre awakens to stirring and low conversation just outside his tent. The dream still stirring in his head. He dons some warm clothing and his regular gear. He pokes his head out to see no one around. He steps out and heads to the Hanged man to find Slyvie. Again no one to find. He retraces his steps to investigate around the citadel. (Tracking 3) Pierre follows some tracks to the Faerie Ring and then more to Fairchild Grove. He follows keeping his guard up.

*as you make your way up to Fairchild Grove, you see Malva and Sylvie standing around a random log near the far edge of the clearing*

[Pierre]

“Sylvie? Malva? What is happening here?” He lowers his guard down

[Sylvie]

(RP continuing through chat. Pierre has been included.)

[Malva]

The three give Pierre a briefing and they all head back towards the citadel area to search

Pierre opens the citadel door and the search continues inside. Any spies might notice Sylvie do something odd.
