Digging a big hole

(OOG Timestamp: One day after the end of Julaugust game, 28 days until Godo's return)

Auron, Degren, Pierre and Talia stand in the field, shovels in hand. Together, they start digging into the ground in front of the deck ramp. Degren can be heard singing a tune, to keep the group working at a steady pace. The work is hard and the sun is hot, but they know it must be done.

There are several other shovels laid around the area, perhaps as an invitation for others to join them.

[Z]

Z, wandering about after some morning meditation, notices the group hard at work and decides to chip in, he gestures vaguely at the hole and follows with a shrug, perhaps wondering what it is for, before grabbing a shovel and joining in.

[Pierre]

“Thanks for the help Z”
Pierre takes a small break to show him where to dig along.
“We’re putting a moat along here to help protect the archers. Take breaks if you need them and drink plenty of water. Today is going to be another hot one”
Pierre wipes the sweat away from his brow and then continues to dig.
