Torvallis! catches Ravira leaving the Watering Hole early in the morning

Torvallis! continued working in silence as Ravira ate an early breakfast. No one else had yet woken.

"There a reason you're up so early today?", asked T!

"Sick of hearing the folks around here say that they'd like a different type of game meat. Figured I'd bring back larger game then a giant rat." Ravira says between mouthfuls of porridge.

[Torvallis!]

Torvallis! clucked their tongue.

"So much prejudice against rat! Perhaps if it was small and not worth it, but the rats here! So large! That's why I've begun breeding them . . . I want to try and start a little rat farm, for the meat & leather"

[Ravira]

"Variety is the spice of life Fire Mage. Cooking deer or moose every now and then won't kill you." She insists she finishes her breakfast and drops the bowl at the counter.

Torvallis! starts lifting their fingers to the tick of an unheard count. They looked at their hands, with 5 on the left and 3 on the right.

"I can think of 8 ways it could!"

Ravira snickers and heads for the door. "Whatever I come back with you better cook. If all I can find is rat then so be it."
She opens the door, sniffs the crisp morning air and steps out.
