You see a note pinned to the notice board, it reads:

"I have packed my things and set off for Applevale in search of profitable work during the reign of Sim. I may or may not return once the reign of Ney begins and the roads are passable."

"If I do not return, I would like you to know that it has been an honour to fight along side you and a pleasure to be in your company"

The note has been flipped over, on the back it reads:

I'm back. Will perform tasks for food or work.
