It's about time Penderghast was buried, with Ardin gone. He's about 3 feet down, a few more to go. He sighs, resting on the shovel and taking a glance to his friend's body.

The Kaern looks at the hole, then the body. What if he does wake up in the same body? Mo'chi rethinks, filling in some of the hole. A shallow grave will do... hopefully it won't unbury him with the weather. Gently, he takes off his friends coat and fancier bits of clothing and dresses him in simpler garb.

He's sure Penderghast would thank him for keeping his coat safe for now.

Mo'chi then buries one of his only friends in the ground, and heads towards the Faerie circle to pray to them again. Maybe this prayer will bring him back.
