Conspicuously Missing

[Lady Val]

During the hours leading up to the eclipse and just after, Lady Val, Zilyana, and Sebastian have been noticeably missing from town. They return, tired yet excited, to the Inn that evening, Val grinning from ear to pointed ear. Grabbing their food, they hastily retreat to the newly moved Caravan, whispering under their breath about the magical properties of strange things like fish eggs and something called voidwood. From underneath their cloaks brief glimpses of metal can be seen glimmering briefly in the twilight of the setting sun almost as brightly as their grins, well, more accurately, almost as bright as Sebastian and Val's grins as Zilyana listens with an expression that seems to be a mix between amusement and exasperation.
