Currency Gems

is there a naming system put in place for the currency gems yet? itwould be very helpful to not have to describe them in game and just use one word and people know exactly what you are talking about.

Rough, large, and brilliant-cut gems?

I think they should be names that are still recognizable as gems without needing constantly call them gems, similarly to how "silver coins/pieces" can just be abbreviated to "silver". Looking at Chickie's suggestions "Brilliant-cut gems" could work pretty well as "Brilliants" makes a lot of sense on it's own, whereas "Larges" might be confusing

That's true . . . in that case, 'roughs', 'windows', and 'brilliants' might be better.

A window cut is a too-shallow cut, allowing very little reflection or brilliance, nearly no extinction, and well, allowing you to see through it.
That accurately describes our large gems (the mid-tier)

It's also strictly better than a rough-cut, which is a cut made for sizing or shaping, not yet the final cut.
