Small plates? Large plates?
I've made some armor, and I'm confused about the difference between "Small plates on leather (scale mail)" and "Large plates on leather". My armour is much more akin to this, http://www.fantasy-armor.com/images/armors/AE1431.jpg, as opposed to http://img05.deviantart.net/ee78/i/2013/154/e/a/scale_mail_close_up_by_madhammer22-d67oaj3.jpg . Would it count as large plate, or small plate?
Thanks!
Thanks!

If the rule book makes a distinction between large plate on leather (such as the image you posted) and full plate (As in one big piece of steel), then I would say it was large plate on leather (Brigandine) rather than scale mail (lammellar).

I'm leaning with Hugo on this one. Though a call cannot be truly made until an event and it gets appraised by the AD in person. but, ya, looking like large plate and not scale mail.

Re: Small plates? Large plates?
Small plates *should* be brigandine and large plate *should* be things like pauldrons, breastplace, gorget etc... IMHO, it should read as: x number of points for small plate on leather OR Scalemaille
x number of points for large plate
x number of points for large plate
