World Knowledge - please read

Hi everyone, Helen here. We've been working on adding detail, complexity, and local flavour to the world. What we have so far is a map, plus some new Common Knowledge. We feel that most players who have been with us since Season 1 would have learned all this knowledge by now just by interacting with longterm residents unless there is a reason not to know it. Of course don't worry if you haven't been RPing this knowledge! You weren't able to until now because you as a player did not have access to it. But if you see anything that works for your character or backstory feel free to work it in from now on.

Please note that we've included a list of settlements and brief descriptions. This list can grow and change. Did you make up a specific Island of the Dead region or village for your character's history? Do you want it to be on the map and in the descriptions? Just let us know and we'll work it in.

We are south of Apple Vale in a tiny spot called Holdfast. I'm not sure anyone at the tavern has heard that name IG, technically, but now that the visitors have started to come from neighbouring regions I think it can seep into common knowledge now or by next game.

I'm wondering where exactly Town West would be. I'm guessing it's somewhere around Ner Batin or Empire's Stand, but it would be nice to know exactly, since Timmean is getting letters from there.

You mean the map in the third post? It works fine for me, so I'd guess it's on your end.

No, there was a PDF in the first post! Unless I dreamed it up. It had descriptions of places and information on Nordin.

EDIT: Actually, re-reading the first post, it says it was edited to include one! So the chances of me not having dreamed it are slightly higher.

If there have been any official updates then they will have been posted. If they have not been posted then it is not an update yet. End of story.

What IG knowledge do we have of these places? Are there certain races that live in certain areas?
