Training with Sir Auren

[Degren Brightforge]

Degren sits at his forge, awaiting Auren to meet him. His hands smoke lightly.

Having just finished his morning prayer to Lord Air, Auron decides that the time has come to train his friend. He collects his things and heads over to the forge, where he finds Degren waiting for him.

"Good morning, old friend. Kept you waiting, huh?" He looks Degren in the eyes and smirks, and holds up his hands. In one hand, he holds his medical kit. In the other, his dagger. "Now, shall we begin?"

Degren pats the coals from his hands, "oh, Aye. Don't worry about keeping me waiting, I've got more than enough work to do here to keep me busy," his eyes fall upon the dagger and widen, " nice dagger... oh. No. Don't you dare!"

[Auron Warfield]

The training montage that ensued after Auron charged Degren with his dagger was truly epic - each day for a week, the pair would meet and train in the medical arts. It mostly consisted of Auron creating various wounds on either himself or Degren, and demonstrating the correct ways to heal them.

At any rate, after all was said and done, Auron felt that Degren was ready for field duty. "Good job, old friend. Try to save some lives out there."
