Shadows in the Night

[Lady Val]

Midnight, the trees howling in the wind, late snow falling softly in the dark. It is miserable. A dark figure moves through the undergrowth and heads towards the edge of town.

[Zar/Herr]

Herr, busy contemplating his future, catches a glimpse of a darker black move across a black background; he watches it for a few seconds, sighs out of boredom and tries to follow it at some distance, losing the figure every time it stops or passes by thick bush. Herr has no intention of approaching.

[Lady Val]

The figure disappears into the night.
