Phineas gets up, looks around, nods to the Gods and goes back into the Inn to have a bowl of stew.

Borin looks up as the snow falls around him. He drops his axe and falls to his knees with his arms spread wide looking up and crying as the snow clings to his beard. a harsh gust of wind quickly has him taking a more inward posture and realizing people can see him he regains his composure and heads inside for a drink.

[Timmean]

Timmean grits his teeth at the quick onset of the storm. Grateful for the turn in the weather, he mutters a silent "thank-you" to no one in particular, and quickly follows Phineas and Borin into the Inn.

Ira shivers in the howling storm. Looking up at the darkened sky she thanks Faerie for helping them and quickly runs inside the inn.

*the blizzard is raging and the fire is near impossible to see. anyone not immediately not to the Inn would have difficulties finding it*

As soon as he leaves the comforts of the tavern the snow blinds him and the wind nearly tears his skin off. He decides to make a quick detour and heads to the bunkhouse.
He looks around, confused at how some of his friends could have slept through this entire mess. He heads to his bunk and digs out another cloak putting it on under his heavy one. He knew it wouldn't keep him warm but dwarves have good resistance to cold temperatures . He then rummages around for all the rope he can find. With more clothes, and a few coils of rope he lights a torch and heads back outside.
When he gets out he ties one end of the rope to a post of the inn patio. He uses a proper half hitch like they taught him to tie up boats back at the port in Iron Bay. He ties the other end to himself so he will know which way back to the inn with almost zero visibility. He then begins to walk carefully across the fire break and towards where the actual fire was burning. When he gets half way across the break he decides its not wor5th taking any chances and starts mulling over every inch of ground kicking the snow and ash to make sure there is no burning embers remaining.(if he fins any he covers them in snow and stomps on them). As he moves farther away from the inn he ties one coil of rope to another and keeps going. He continues until he is out of rope and he decides it would be unsafe to go beyond this point until daylight in better conditions.

Borin holds his torch low to the ground determined to make sure any threat to their little village is snuffed out.

After about an hour Borin's torch had long burnt out and the snow had accumulated just over his boots. He was thoroughly exhausted and the cold had completely overtaken him.  He decides at this point if there is some fire that is still a threat to the town under eight inches of snow then the town is fucked no matter his efforts to protect it. He tugs on his rope and begins to coil  it back up as he makes his way back towards the inn. When he reaches the patio he is needs to make a choice, one that was a lot easier to make the last time he was presented with it: Bunkhouse or Tavern? after a moment he makes up his mind and heads inside.

*it's been two solid days of blizzard when the snow starts to let up.*

*the blizzard is now no longer and there is considerable amounts of snow everywhere*

Phineas comes back into the Inn after shovelling paths through the snow to the privy and the front steps. We returns to his duties of feeding the locals, baking and brewing what he can from the materials at hand.
