Ardin and Niko in the Woods
[Timestamp: August 31, early morning]
As Ardin continues the search for Jenny's heart, he hears a noise in the bushes. Upon investigating, he finds Niko setting up a snare.
"Ah, good morning Niko. I've been meaning to talk with you, if you have a moment?"

"I've been thinking, your ability to track animals was quite useful when we were trying to find Jenny's heart, I was wondering if you'd be willing to show me the basics of tracking, the more skilled people we have hunting through the forest the better."

Re: Ardin and Niko in the Woods
"It definitely comes in handy as I've noticed around here. We can start with something simple like tracking a rabbit, they frequent this area a lot"
*Niko kneels down and motions for Ardin to join him*
"It's best to start low as from a top down view it's hard to notice things like the raised dirt over there, the crushed leaf just ahead of it, and that small twig that's been snapped beyond that. These are the begining of tracks and you can follow these similar signs down a path."
"The second part is to help distinguish tracks, it's easier when you can see prints but in these higher traffic areas you need to think about how your target moves. Things like weight, how many legs it walks on, and it's general movement patterns like a human stride or a rabbits hop."
"I have a couple snares and traps around these higher traffic areas so you can practice finding tracks around them, they often lead to dens under trees or rocks."
"Let me know if you want help tracking more things around or if you have any questions."
