Michael sits by the Water circle, talking to Kez.
Michael can be seen, sat by the Water circle talking to Kez, and hopefully anyone who read his note that he posted a few days prior.

Re: Michael sits by the Water circle, talking to Kez.
Kez plops down next to Michael, smiling slightly at the absentminded grass-picking.
"So, you know absolutely nothing about the Faun culture? Huh. What a weird feeling, it's sort of just, natural to me at this point. Well, what would you like to know? I must note, the Faun culture is a bit all over the place. Because we sort of wander in packs, you're bound to find different practices, different slang terms, even different horn shapes from pack to pack. Either way, if you have any specific questions, shoot! I have no shame in telling you even the most simplest of things."

Michael looks up towards the sky, pondering the request.
"Firstly, I'd like to know more about finding a mate, what's the process or is there none at all?"

"Well, as I said, I can only really speak for my pack, but it sort of just happens naturally. It's less of a prestigious thing than in other non-Faun cultures I've seen, as we tend to use sex in general for pleasure, as opposed to... ah, what was it," Kez strokes his beard, in deep thought, attempting to remember what it was he forgot.
Suddenly, Kez sat up straight. "Aha! Saving yourself until marriage! That's the term. Either way, we tend to have multiple partners at the same time at any given time. As for a mate though, that's a bit of a bigger deal. In my pack, we tend to have many partners, but few mates."

Re: Michael sits by the Water circle, talking to Kez.
Michael looks back at Kez, seemingly stunned a little.
"Well now, that's certainly something about.I do have to ask, do Fauns tend to choose a mate of the same race or do they branch out? I understand that each pack can be different, but if the latter is the case, then I have something to fight for. A life. With her." He says, shedding a single tear at the shear thought of losing her.

Re: Michael sits by the Water circle, talking to Kez.
Kez sees the tear, and pretends not to notice it, for fear of Michael being embarrassed.
"Well, unfortunately, that's not really anything I can answer. Within my pack, of course, we did see the occasional person come home with someone of a different race, but a lot of my pack tended to stay within the woods. They never really branched off into civilized areas..."
Kez took a pause, being cautious about what to say next.
"...But I have heard of packs that almost entirely live within towns and villages, mating with those of different races or not, whatever comes... naturally. My pack tended to have no prejudice about who we mated with, is your answer."

"Thank you Kez, despite not knowing you, I feel I can trust you on this topic. But I do have to ask, is there anyway I would know a Faun is interested in me as a mate? Any identifying marks or features or gestures I could look out for? I assume there's an underlying connection between all Faun, regardless of any variation of race." Michael says, sitting up, a slight look of confidence spreads along his face.

"I should hope you can trust me, the horns may help with that!" Kez laughed, almost falling over in the grass, "In all seriousness, thank you Micheal, that's really appreciated."
"As for how you'd know... hmm. There seems to be an underlying connection for sure, but a lot of Fauns show it in a more obvious way differently, just as other races would. Have you ever heard of the love languages? They might be a bit easier to explain to someone of a different race, the other underlying connection is... complicated to say the least. The love languages are a bit more obvious than a slight twinkle of the eye, or brushing up next to you when you're near. It's less about showing love, and more what type of love someone will give to you, and what type of love someone will appreciate getting." Kez seemed to stare off into the distance, seemingly hoping to see something on the horizon.

"Ah, I see. Would you care to explain it to me then, I have an idea what the love languages are but I want to hear what you have to say about it." Michael says, shifting slightly.

Re: Michael sits by the Water circle, talking to Kez.
"Well, essentially, people believe that there are 5 love languages that are shown between partners. Reaffirming words, physical touch, acts of service, quality time, and receiving gifts. Each person tends to have a main one, and a secondary one, but the idea is that everyone loves differently! One person may value acts of service, while another may value physical touch. Do some introspection, maybe some meditation, and see if you can find out what yours is. It may be helpful." Kez smiled widely, a twinkle in his eye.
"As well, I'm not sure if you actually know this, but Fauns tend to be what you would call "polyamorous". We just call it a relationship, but we tend to have multiple partners. I can't even imagine only being attracted to one person at any given time. Wow. Anyways, I just wouldn't be surprised if the Faun that you're looking to see if they're interested in you is also interested in a few others, is all I mean."
