'Hmm. Maybe it'd just be easier to learn by doing it.' Cricket looks up the hill. The line of the mountain ridge can be seen far away. 'We're off the path... see peak right there?' Cricket points to a particular portion of the ridge jutting up under the sun. 'You get us there. It's pretty easy, cos we can see it from here... but I want you to tell me before each stop we make what you think the land is going to do as we make our way up. Use the land you see around us... it can talk to you about what is coming up.'
