Zelda grins and keeps pace until they stop to fill their water skins and she looks at Z after taking a swig. "Hey, would you be down for teaching me psychic? I do want to learn it and..." she takes another swig of water as a fidget, "I'd like to learn from you." Zelda looks at Z hopefully.

Z smiles at her and nods with vigour, before taking a couple of large gulps from his waterskin. He taps the side of his head with his index finger, gestures broadly to the forest around, and sits quickly and neatly criss-cross-applesauce while looking at Zelda expectantly, and with great eagerness

Zelda softly giggles as she looks at Z, with a look of bemused adoration, before she settles down herself. Making sure to mimic Z's posture and stance, she sits criss cross applesauce, and looks at Z, ready and smiling.

Z quickly pulls out his notebook, while also taking some deep breaths in and out, gesturing up and down with his hand all the while, before gesturing to Zelda as well. He then writes;

"The first step to psychicing is relaxing, you have to be calm to open up your mind"

Zelda breathes in and out along with Z, before reading his lesson. She quietly takes off her necklace of seeds and lets it sit softly in her hands as she closes her eyes and takes a few concentrated breaths. Focusing on the forest air, the subtle scent, the liveliness of it. She focuses on rooting herself, however momentarily, before opening her eyes and letting her shoulders relax. Zelda looks at Z, waiting, ready.

It feels almost like flexing a muscle you never knew you had, and Hard. It feels as though the brain is cramping the first time, but relaxes gradually after a dozen minutes. Gently probing, flexing, Zelda can almost feel this new power she has, and noticing Z again, has to squint as he is glowing a bright and powerful purple.

Z takes notice now and tries his best to help Zelda become more accustomed, trying to explain in mime how to relax her mind and adjust to her new ability. It is difficult going, but hopefully after about an hour and a half, she is rather adjusted to this new lifestyle. He even points out the ghost of a hare running through the woods that they look at for a short while, amazing what you don't know you can see.

Zelda's eyes follow Z's pointing finger as her face brightens with a child like wonder. Her face falls a little and she looks at Z, squinting a little, trying to concentrate.
"How...why is this flickering? The purple, the ghosts, I mean. Is this something that takes time?"
She looks at her hand nonchalantly before looking back at Z again and just kind of relaxes, smiling and shrugging. "This is fun. Thanks!"
