Degren Prepares to Leave

[Degren Brightforge]

Degren can be found busily preparing for a short trip. He places items in a pack, and grabs a few loaves of bread off the table, stuffing them in sacks before placing them haphazardly into the backpack he's prepared. After a few moments of preparation, he sits down and lights up a pipe, awaiting his travelling companions for their mission to Applevale.

Staff at hand and a rucksack thrown over her shoulder, Winnie walks into the inn to meet with Degren. She quickly catches sight of the burly man stuffing food into his bags and makes her way over to the table. Grabbing one of the loaves spared from the maw of Degren's pack, she removes her own and places the bread into it.
"Happen to know who else is tagging along?" she asks casually to the older man, taking in the scent of the pipeweed.

He smiles and waves, wiping crumbs from his hands, "Hey there, Win, I figured we'd have a few more steaders coming with us. Gonna see if we can find a few trainers out there in Applevale-- We will need all the help we can get." he pauses, wipes the mouthpiece on his pipe, and offers it to Winnie.

[Winnie]

Winnie nods accepting the offered pipe with a smile. She take a few puffs before wiping the mouth piece and handing it back. "Trainers would be quite helpful to all of us and I'm eager to learn a few things myself. Perhaps some new armor would also be worth acquiring."
