Teek lays on the ground, convulsing, eyes closed, and sweat dripping off. Her face contorts in pain, fear and rage as the minutes go by.

[Rosco Agassi]

Rosco's eyes have snapped open, filled with silent terror as he processes what's just happened. He's shaking, breathing staggered and rapid, a sense of hopelessness still tearing at his chest. He takes less time than Z to recover, because the moment he sees Teek from the corner of his eye all his issues seem to fade. He sits next to her, trying carefully to assess what kind of condition she may be in physically (Medic 5).

[Z]

As Z looks around as he recovers and notices Rosco leaning over Teek trying to help her, he too scurries over to help, sitting on the other side of her so as to not be in Rosco's way. He is not so skilled in the harms the body can undergo but has rudimentary knowledge of the mind. He looks at Rosco very worriedly and gestures at Teek as she lay convulsing, in a very "what do we do" sort of way.

*Teek seems physically fine, though something appears to be draining her*

[Rosco Agassi]

Rosco looks Teek over, moving quickly but skillfully to check for injuries or painful areas. He comes up with nothing, but he can sense the draining from the first touch. "Uh," he's breathless and frazzled, it seems, running through ideas in his mind. "I think they're still taking her light...I..." He looks up at Z, back down at the convulsing body. He very carefully lays a hand on Teek's arm. The purple aura that radiates off him dims slightly, eyes closed in concentration. He's not as confident as Z, but he's trying to make a psychic link (transfer state), anything to bring him closer to Teek.

[Z]

Z worriedly realizes what's happening as he works over Teek, he looks at Rosco and gestures to himself, his hands in a grabbing motion. He then places his hands on Teeks temples, and attempts to sever her from the vision (psychic disruption), then to preserve and protect whatever he can (psychic block) before finally, hopefully, locking her down from further intrusion, by placing her hands together, and binding them with a small length of leather cord he has and utilizing Iron Mind on her

Teek's body settles for the briefest of moments before her eyes jolt open and she inhales, almost in desperation. As soon as she realizes she can't part her hands and why, she starts to panic and tries to scramble away.

[Z]

Z tries his best to hold Teeks hands, and get his face in front of hers so she can properly see him. He shakes his head at her in a "no" motion as he looks at her filled with worry and concern.

[AD]

The moment her hands are held by another person she freezes and shrinks, submissive and shaking. She casts her eyes down to avoid eye contact and waits.

[Rosco Agassi]

There's a spark of realization in Rosco's eyes as Teek sinks into herself. He moves towards her, hand hovering over her shoulder but not yet touching. "Teek," he speaks quietly, apprehension thick. He doesn't know if he's doing the right thing. "Teek it's us, it's Rosco and Z. We're not here to hurt you."

Teek starts to slowly pull away as she senses someone approaching. When she hears Rosco's voice she stops and at the mention of Z she raises her head cautiously to check her surroundings. As she sees friendly faces, she begins to straighten up. Looking at her hands she looks at the pair, "Why?"

[Z]

Z with worry still fresh on his face, taps a digit to his temple and flashes a thumbs up, then taps Teeks temple and gives a shaky, questioning hand gesture

[AD]

Teek looks down at her bound hands and presents them to Z, "Please, I...please..." she trails off, lost in unpleasant memories.

[Rosco Agassi]

Rosco's hand is still lingering just above her shoulder, still not yet confident enough to offer reassurance. He looks to Z. "Take it off," he reiterates. "Please. She..." he doesn't finish the sentence. "Just get it off her."

[Z]

Z looks to Rosco as he talks, and deliberates over his words for a long minute before taking action. He begins to almost hesitantly unbind her hands, then with more purpose, being careful to hold her hands keeping them together, until the leather cord is undone and drops to the ground, so it is just Z holding her hands together. Z gives her a look and nods at her hands, and then to Rosco, trying his best to gesture to her hands before gently taking his away.

Teek sits there, tears silently streaming down her face as her hands are unbound, she nods and without thinking says, "Thank you sir."

[Rosco Agassi]

Rosco steps quickly into Z's spot. He, in place of the rope, uses one hand to hold Teek's hands together. Every movement is calculated, taking seconds pause to consider before doing, and even sitting happens gentler than it would have on another day. "You don't need to call him that," he assures. "You don't need to. We're not them." He gives a little squeeze.

Teek looks at Rosco and nods, still almost transfixed in thought. She gently pulls her hands out of Roscos grip before burying her face in her hands sobbing.

Rosco doesn't have the heart to hold her hands together with any force. He lets them drop before crawling up alongside her, finally allowing himself to touch her as he rubs small circles into her back. "It's okay," he promises. "You're not there anymore."

[Z]

Z, watching things unfold, manages to relax a small bit, his movements still tense, he reaches and offers his waterskin to Teek,there's not much left within but it's a little. He puts a hand on her shoulder as well as Rosco comforts her.

[AD]

Teek sobs for awhile before taking the offered waterskin. She stares at seemingly nothing while she breathes deeply, attempting to calm down enough to speak. After a few moments, she gives a small, tearful smile to the two before lightly slapping herself in the cheeks in an attempt to rouse herself.

Looking at the two she says, "Ah...that. that was unexpected. Sorry you had to see that." She tries to put on a brave face.

[Rosco Agassi]

Rosco offers a sympathetic smile. "Don't apologize, all that matters is making sure you feel better." He gives her shoulder a gentle squeeze before standing up to survey their camp. "We were gone awhile, huh?"

[Z]

Z continues to hold her shoulder, thoughtlessly rubbing it for her as he thinks about everything that just happened, he flashes her a thumbs up with a questioning look. As Rosco speaks Z takes more time now to survey the camp, by the looks of the fire and the fact that a squirrel had been digging around in their pack, he guesses they'd been out probably close to 16 hours, a vision of that strength makes some sort of sense he supposes. Z outwardly nods to Rosco after assessing, then flashes both his hands, then one hand and a finger, before tapping his wrist and pointing to the sun, making a semi-circular motion tracing it's path across the sky.

[AD]

Teek waves her own hand in a "enh" response, giving a kind of exhausted smile. She looks at Z,
"So now what?"

[Z]

Z let's out a sigh he didn't realize he was holding, he stands up and offers Teek a hand raising her to her feet, as he surveys the sky. He looks around at the camp, and then gestures to himself, Teek, and Rosco and mimes and sleeping gesture, before gesturing to them again, and a walking motion with a shrug and look.
