The far-flung edges of the Holdfast area

[Lessa]

It's a cool, foggy, and damp afternoon in late, late, late autumn when the sound of a group of travellers emerges into the steep hills around Holdfast; some of the sounds may resemble cursing, or at least exclamations and cautions as the group navigates the treacherous path downward. But soon there are also exclamations of excitement as certain landmarks become familiar. If anyone happens to be nearby, the voices sound familiar, and eventually the figures are familiar too: Bikbun, Lady Val, Gurok, Herr, Lessa, (possibly Teek,) and Timmean, between them bearing a long burden. They seem unchanged - until a closer look confirms that Herr's skin has taken on a distinct bluish tone, and Timmean now has -- pointed ears?!? There is something undeniably ... sexy about Timmean too, at least for anyone who would be attracted to elves and/or males.

You hear the sound of the earth shift, and sitting under a tree in front of you with a handful of apples is Volk.
"Look who's not a pile of flaming corpses! And I see the humans are all with you that's good... Why is Timmian sexy?"

[Bikbun Ironbones]

Deeply breathing, and coughing a small amount, Bikbun sighs - happily, but with a twinge of sadness.

"It's... it's good tae be home! I missed this place..." he smiles.

[Volkihere Malacalo]

Volk looks at Bikbun. And juts an apple forward.
"Apple?"

[Keket]

-lady keket would come from behide a tree smiling at everyone-

"yes indded have an apple and welcome back all of you..seems some thing have change in someway or another in what looks to be good! welcome home again!"

"shed said this with almost a bonces to her words and steps-

[Zar/Herr]

"Hey" Herr says to Keket and Volk, taking an apple and wondering how many others are going to appear out of fucking nowhere ;p

[Keket]

-shed looked to herr and smile notices slight change-

"how are you doing? herr? everyone?"

[Bikbun Ironbones]

Bikbun happily accepts Volk's offer, and releasing one hand from the litter held aloft between the group, takes the apple and happily eats it, crunching between his teeth.

"Ah... Ih'f mehssed Howldfaasts fooodsh!" he says, still chewing, before swallowing. "Though, nothin' like those Faerie cakes, am I right friends?" he asks the newly returned crew.

[Volkihere Malacalo]

"So what happened?"
Volk looks at the group.

[Degren Brightforge]

Degren walks around the corner of the Knight's camp and wipes the black soot that covers his hands with a filthy rag that hangs from his belt. He looks over each of the returning travelers and grins, waving to them in turn.  Finally, he stops at the sight of Timmean and Herr and pulls his head back in suprise. He mimes, using an open palm gesture--

What happened here?!

[Gurok]

Struggling to balance the litter after bikbun had let go, Gurok smiles sadly around at her friends. "Volk, I need to ask you to chop some wood, we may need quite a bit. " We have some announcements to make, some good, some... not as good." *She glances forlornly to the shape on the litter between them.* "It would probably be best if we waited to discuss what happened untill we can all sit and rest, perhaps at lunch, when we're all together. Everyone needs to hear. We have a lot to celebrate, and lots to do. Let's all go down to the inn now. " * She motions for bickbun to take his place back at the handle.*

[Lady Val]

"Sir Degrin how good to see you, and you as well Volk, and Keket, cousin come here I'm so glad to see you!" She gives Keket a one armed hug.

"There is much to explain and I will do so once we are back in the in but the short answer regarding Lord Arros' sudden change is that he is now an Elf. As for Herr, well we are generally unsure about him but the colour is new. Call everyone to the Inn, I have a tale to tell and several announcements to make on behalf of the returning party."

[Auron Warfield]

Auron and Asher, while having a conversation about different kinds of hops and barley at the Knight's camp, notice the commotion and stand up. They decide to check it out, and move to stand beside Degren. Auron folds his arms, silently studying the situation. He is curious about what happened, but is confident that an explanation will soon present itself.

[Pierre]

Anyone noticing the litter will see Pierre's body, resting, not moving

[Lady Val]

<OOG: Just set up a post in the Inn so when we are done here we can go there>

[Keket]

keket would come over to lady val and inbrace her in the one arm hug as would hearing what val had to say as shed nodded to what she had said after the hug-

"im glad youre back all of you.. it seems theres alot of things to be said ill go call the town and let them know we must all meet in the inn at onces i think some may be already there"

-shed would run off to call everyone to the inn-

[Timmean]

Timmean is looking around at everyone, smiling, though the smile does look a little sad. As everyone greets them, he starts to take more notice of the handle he's carrying, it's weight suddenly seeming a little heavier since leaving The Mists. To anyone looking, in addition to the pointed ears, Timmean is also wearing a new tunic, a wide purple sash, and a beautiful forest-green cloak trimmed in gold.

"Everyone, yes, I agree, we should make our way to the inn. There's much to tell... and a hero to honour." There's a pause, and his smile becomes a little sheepish. "But, ah... yes, the great Faerie have chosen to make me one of their honoured children. It's an... amazing privilege."

[Asher Fairchild]

*Asher face turns pale at the site of Pierre. Her expression turns to confusion and anger as the others turn and leave towards the inn. Auron and Degren stand silently beside her, all in shock and unsure of what to do*

[Timmean]

(OOG: To be clear, we're all carrying Pierre between us)

(OOG: Whoops! missed that part)

[Asher Fairchild]

"well." Asher breaks the silence. "I'm going in. They better have a pretty damn good explanation for this."

She angrily makes a B line towards the inn, only to turn back and ask

"are you comin?"

[Degren Brightforge]

Degren holds up his finger, signalling asher to wait, and runs back into the camp and hastily dons his armor; the look in her eyes said enough, and he'd rather be prepared than not. Leaving the camp, he throws his sword and shield over his back and follows her to the inn.
