Lessa moves back near the door once the stretcher has been respectfully placed. She's staying out of the limelight, but is definitely present. After a low-voiced conversation with Phineas, she has a glass of some kind of strong wine or mead in her hand. She puts it down, reaches into her bag, and produces a bulging napkin; it's filled with tiny, crispy, crackers. She slips into the middle of the room long enough to put the crackers on the table then slips back to the door and her drink; she stands and watches.

Asher sternly swings the door open and stomps her way in through the crowd. She stops at Pierres body.

"What the HELL happened here?! I demand an explanation!"

She's forcing back tears at the site of her dead companion, and places her hand on his forehead in a useless attempt to *comfort* him.

OGG: Okidoke!) IG: Gurok is hit in the face with the door as Asher comes in, but her tusks save her nose for being squished, and she takes a moment to pry her tusks out if the wood of the new door. "He can come back! It's alright Asher, he can come back. Everything is alright, trust me." He offered himself as a sacrifice, it was of his own free will. And Faerie, were kind enough to leave him the chance to return to his body, to us. We're going to honor him properly, though. It's going to be alright Asher. Come with me, I'm going to gather the others. We'll all tell our part, and answer any questions you have.

Deciding that he needed to know what happened to his friend, Auron enters the inn. It is a quiet entrance - there is no emotion in his steps. He simply walks in and takes a standing position beside Pierre and Asher, clasping his hands behind his back.

'What did they do to you, my friend...' he thinks to himself. "Damn it."

------"Malva looks at Herr puzzled, occasionally glancing at Grayfeared out of the corner of her eye: "Did... I.. not just do that?""

When Keket speaks, Herr holds his hand up to her, looking just beyond Malva, he bites his lip, looking back at Malva and carefully says
"I'm sorry, i thought you knew more than just their features and the fact that they can perform magic!"
His hand still raised to Keket, his eyes suggesting agitation.
His attention goes to Timmean when he speaks and slowly lowers Pierre.
"Is he... dead?" Malva asks, Keket suggest waiting for Lady Val.
"yeah, for now." Herr answers anyway, looking down at pierre.

Asher glares at everyone who just returned, taking in all of the new features. She stands in front of Pierres body with her hand on the hilt of her sword, guarding him.

Thank you Asher. We have an idea for a ritual, to honor Pierre's heroism, and to protect his body while he is in the land of the dead. We're going to build a shelter, similar to the dwarven funeral rites. Volk is gathering wood for it now I think. As soon as everything is explained we will have a a feast to celebrate his life and his sacrifice, maybe you would like to make a speech?I'm so sorry this has upset you Asher, we all were as upset as you were when it first happened. We've just had a little while to come to terms with it.

Asher shoots a cold glare at Keket, and then looks to Auron. The look on his face reminds her to keep calm, and she removes her hand from her hilt.

"I'll say my piece when I find out whats going on."

"Have you eaten?" She asks, holding out the plate of crackers to Asher- the one she noticed Lessa quietly slip onto the table from her bag- she suspects they may have a calming effect, that would benefit everyone involved. "This might take a while, and everyone is emotional. We are all tired from the journey and i know everyone has questions. Please, eat!" She eats a couple of crackers herself, and hastily hands the plate to Asher, hurrying off to tell her plan to Lady Val and the others. "I hope Val has a good speech ready, she thinks silently to herself. I want to keep this situation under control. We don't need any more violence."

Asher, sickened by the events unfolding in front of her, has lost her appetite. She is entirely turned off by the merriment and good spirits that the returning members of the town seem to be in. She looks again to her dead friend, and wonders if these people are worth the risk.

Suddenly, Datura slams the door open with his shoulder, partly destroying it with Gurok's head. Taking a quick glance around, meeting the eyes of the many patrons whilst breathing heavily. His face bears a look of utter hatred and disgust. Stomping over to the casket, Datura motions to Auron as if requesting help. He firmly grasps the edge. Auron calmly walks to the casket. Both firmly handling Pierre's resting bed, they hoist the casket removing it from the room of bystanders. Whilst leaving the doorway, Datura passes another seemingly harsher glare to the group in the building. Giving Asher a confirmation nod, the two heave the body of Pierre towards the Knights Encampment.

Degren, standing in the back of the room , shakes his head silently. He steps through the inn, looking at the mixed emotions of the room and ponders at the strange sense of joy and sorrow that lingers Here. Stepping over the Shattered door, he checks Gurok over, looking for any significant wounds or Crack. Once he's sure her tusks managed to take the brunt of the force and are undamaged, he exits the inns front door to catch up to Auron and Datura, joining them in their burden.
