Project Emotion Training

[Kuromori, Taka]

[June 5th, 2018, evening]

Taka enters the tavern, figuring the most likely place to see Sylvie nowadays is playing chess at the drink table.

[Sylvie]

Her suspicions were correct. Taka finds Sylvie on the far side of the inn, just finishing a game of chess with Mirisi.

Sylvie waves at her friend

[Kuromori, Taka]

"Good evening Sylvie, I was hoping to take you up on that project emotion training we'd discussed."

[Sylvie]

"Oui!"

She shoes off Mirisi with a sway of her hand and invites Taka to sit.

"Now...where to begin. I suppose the first thing you'll want to do think deeply about the emotion you want to instill in someone. Sadness, anger, fear...which ever one you want. Then try to manifest that emotion within yourself. You know when you hear bad news, and your stomach feels like its dropping? Or when you have to confront someone, and your heart feels like its in knots? Sort of like that."

"Next, in your mind, visualize attaching that emotion to your well of psychic energy. Can you do that?"

[Kuromori, Taka]

"Hmm...."

Taka closes her eyes and tries to connect her emotions to her energy.

Eyes still closed, she furrows her brows intently. "Okay?"

[Sylvie]

"Now, you know the feeling you get when transferring a state? Its sort of like that. Try pushing the emotion into the target."

[Kuromori, Taka]

"...'kay"
Taka squints her eyes open just a crack to see and taps Sylvie on the shoulder.
Project Emotion: Glee

[Kuromori, Taka]

She opens her eyes. "How was that?"

[Sylvie]

Sylvie, now feeling rather gleeful, smiles and claps her hands

“Yes! Youve got it! But make sure to keep practicing with the darker emotions too!”
