The lock hands. Taka responds to Keket's countdown a split-second faster than Sylvie and pushes her hand a couple of degrees over. Sylvie quickly starts resisting the force, stopping Taka's arm. With some effort, she slowly pushes it all the way back over and down onto the table.

"Well it looks like you've won." Taka comments, trying not to appear bitter, even though she was fully expecting to lose.
"I'll tell you what, if you teach me that kind of strength AND you agree teach me to control emotions some time later this year, I'll teach you any one psychic skill you want right now."

Sylvie is perplexed by the concept of taking psychic energy. She has never heard of such a thing.

She tries to imagine the energy swirling around Taka's hands and drawing it out. It takes a moment for her to get used to the odd sensation, but eventually she transfers the energy back to herself.
