In Malva's simple but elegant cursive:

"Will give two units of top quality caustic tar to whoever teaches me the basics of smithing.

[Zar/Herr]

Herr notices the note and takes it down, seeing it as an opportunity to give a good impression on people; he doesn't want the opportunity to be taken by someone else.
He does, however, begin to doubt himself despite knowing more than just the basics, could he really teach anyone?
A short time and increased heart rate later he decides to get Bikbun, both to teach Malva and so be sure he knows the proper way to teach someone about smithing.
He leaves with the note.

Herr returns smiling with Bikbun, having explained things to him, they look for Malva.

Malva is sitting in the inn enjoying her lunch.

[Ardin Gallagher]

Ardin slugs his way into the inn, one of his now rare ventures to the inn proper. Giving his day's payment for meals to Hassan, he gathers a plate of food and slumps against the wall, sipping some water.

[Zar/Herr]

Herr spots Malva and taps Bikbun on the shoulder, prompting him to come along. Herr stands near Malva and speaks.
"hey, saw your note, told Bikbun; he's alright with teaching you!"
Herr prompts Bikbun to say something.
