Torvallis! grinned broadly in their slumber in the bunkhouse, the sounds outside on the trodden paths inspiring very pleasant dreams.

Torvallis! woke up the morning after the burn, a spring in their step from the wonderful day they'd had yesterday, and the wonderful dreams they had last night.

As they stepped out onto the deck of the inn & bunkhouse, it seemed unusually warm for winter.

"Lady Val!", exclaimed Torvallis!, "I appreciate the thought, but this is hardly an appropriate gift!", as they looked at the burning forest.

*the fire, strong as ever, is making its way towards the Inn*

[Torvallis!]

"FIRE, FIRE", Torvallis! ran screaming through the inn and bunkhouse, wondering why no one was paying attention to them.

*the fire burns bright and hot. Slowly expanding, and creeping towards the inn, it seems to be consuming all in its way.*

*the fire is burning merrily but seems to have stopped creeping forward. it is expanding backward.*

*the fire is expanding back and to the sides but it has stopped moving toward the inn*

*an unexpected blizzard has hit the forest fire and it is whipping the fire in a state of confused frenzy.*

*after two days since the blizzard started, it has now started to calm down*

*the blizzard has ceased and the sky is clearing. there is considerable amounts of snow everywhere.*
